About Árbær Open Air Museum

The Árbær Open Air Museum is one of the five sites of the Reykjavík City Museum, with houses moved from the old town, among them Suðurgata 7, built in 1833, furnished as a Reykjavík home of around 1925, in the museum’s words. Its Christmas programme is an Advent tradition, Visit Reykjavík records.
